Research tells us that effective assessments are built on a foundation of specific, skill-related learning targets for students measured by success criteria. This session will focus on how rubrics narrow complex tasks into performance standards that represent foundational skills. Specifically, the presenters will focus on their district-wide efforts to implement single-point rubrics to evaluate student performance and measure growth in the field of English Language Arts and Math.
